Ameena holds a bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from the Royal University for Women in Bahrain.
Prior to joining MCB, she trained in various governmental as well as private corporations such as: Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR-AAA), the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) (Bahrain), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Bahrain) and the Bahrain National Insurance company.
Ameena has been a participant in the 23rd and 24th edition of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition as well as the 6th and 7th Annual Middle East Arbitration Pre-Moot. She co-coached the Royal University for Women team in the 25th and 26th version of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition. Most notably, she has co-authored a paper titled “Women’s Role in International Commercial Arbitration Between Education and Legal Profession” which she presented at Royal University for Women’s 2nd Conference on Women and Society held in collaboration with Gulf Education under the theme “Empowering Women through Higher Education”.
