BCDR-AAA Conference – International Investment Arbitration in the MENA Region

Head of Mena Chambers, Professor Adnan Amkhan Bayno, has participated in the Intensive Course and Conference organised by Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR-AAA) and the International Treaty Forum. The event took place in Manama between 6 and 10 December 2015 and addressed issues pertaining to “International Investment Arbitration in the MENA Region”.
During the Intensive Course, in collaboration with other instructors, Professor Amkhan Bayno has been invited to develop various facets of the main topic, including costs and remedies, prevention of foreign investment disputes, the management of foreign investment relations as well as developments of investment arbitration in the 20th and 21st centuries.
At the Conference, Professor Amkhan Bayno gave a presentation on Bahrain’s bilateral investment treaties (BITs). The presentation and information on Bahrain’s BITs have been published on our website.
