Carsten Reimann

Carsten Reimann is an international business lawyer with over 15 years’ experience. He holds a doctorate degree in Public International Law, a postgraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh and a degree in General Management from St Gallen University.

In 2008-2011 Carsten served as Head of Nissan’s External & Governmental Affairs team in Europe and was Director of Nissan’s Brussels Office. In 2005-2008 he established Nissan’s legal department for D-A-CH and was chief legal adviser on a reorganisation project.

Before that Carsten was working for top-ranked law firms in London, Brussels and Germany where he has advised multinational corporations and private clients. He is experienced in a wide number of industry sectors including automotive, technology and energy.

Beside his own practice areas, Carsten’s core competence is establishing legal teams at short notice and managing complex legal project work. In 2012, Carsten has launched Xenion Legal, a legal resourcing business providing lawyers on demand for corporate clients and law firms. He has authored many contributions on law and management in journals and books, including an own book on the EU legal framework in the automotive sector.
