Isra is a licensed lawyer in Bahrain and holds a bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from Royal University for Women, Bahrain. She advises clients on civil, commercial, corporate, banking and investment matters as well as litigation, arbitration and mediation disputes. She has a strong background in MENA regional commercial rules and laws and regularly advises clients on different commercial matters relating to regional laws.
Prior to joining MCB, she trained in a number of local and international law firms in Bahrain such as Ahmed Al-Thukair Law Firm, Hassan Radhi & Associates Law Firm, Almoayed Chambers Law Firm, Charles Russells Speechlys LLP, and Norton Rose Fulbright. Isra practices in various fields of law and specializes in international and domestic arbitration as well as civil and commercial laws in the MENA region. Besides her experience in various law firms, Isra worked in the legal department at Bahrain Petroleum Company (BAPCO) and the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR).
