Sir Elihu Lauterpacht Lecture Series on the Administration of International Justice
Mena Chambers is proud to organise a lecture series in honour of one of the most distinguished contemporary international lawyers and practitioners, Professor Sir Elihu Lauterpacht CBE QC LLD.
Designed to explore the salient issues in various fields of contemporary international law, and to stimulate debate amongst a range of invited practitioners and academics, each lecture will be delivered by a distinguished guest speaker.
On 22 November 2012, Sir Daniel Bethlehem KCMG QC, former Legal Advisor of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom, delivered the first inaugural lecture of the Sir Elihu Lauterpacht Lecture Series on the Administration of International Justice.
Sir Daniel spoke on the topic of “The End of Geography: the Changing Nature of the International System and the Challenge to International Law”.
